Contact Quinn

Quinn is a relational psychotherapist working with individuals 16 years and older with a focus on clients struggling with change and transition, anxiety, depression, trauma and loss. She has a special interest in working with emerging adults who are meeting new challenges, as well as adults seeking deeper understandings of themselves.

Many of Quinn’s clients have entered therapy feeling as if the tools they previously relied on are no longer working in the face of a new issue, a new identity, or a new life stage. Quinn believes that each individual already possesses the inner wisdom needed to understand what is next—her role is to support and empower clients as they move to that new place.

Quinn’s superpower is empathetic listening. Her clients have often described sessions as highly attuned, warm, and spacious. Quinn’s primary tool is the therapeutic relationship—she has witnessed the profound progress that happens when clients feel safe and held enough in the relationship to take some risks. She is practiced in picking up on subtleties, allowing her to bring things that have remained out of awareness into focus and create space for new opportunities. Quinn takes this work very seriously, but also encourages clients to bring their whole selves to therapy—recognizing that humor and levity can play an important role in this challenging and meaningful work.

While Quinn primarily utilizes a relational psychodynamic lens, she understands that all clients are unique and tailors her approach to each individual’s needs by drawing from various frameworks and theoretical approaches. Quinn is passionate about walking alongside clients who are motivated to build self-insight through deep exploration of their relationships, experiences, and life circumstances.

Through a varied background in human services, nonprofit consulting, and high-growth startups, Quinn has honed an ability to establish trust and build rapport across many environments. No matter her role—whether as a supervisor, consultant, teammate, volunteer, partner, daughter, sister, or friend—Quinn feels most sustained, creative, and impactful when she is listening empathetically and leveraging her skills to help someone else.

Quinn holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Whitman College and a Master’s in Education from Seattle University with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and substance use disorders. Quinn actively engages in ongoing learning, consultation, and supervision and is a member of several formal consultation groups.
